About Me

“The world spins. We stumble on. It is enough.”

—Colum McCann

I am a nature and wildlife photographer and the story of how I come to be one is as compelling as my photographs are.

Sometimes we call it destiny; other times, we think it’s all random, and believe that life just unfolds.

However, the dreamer in me wishes to believe that the universe is always conspiring in my favour.

But, nothing in life comes for free, we must endure challenges to fully appreciate the blessings we are given.

In the summer of 2021, while recovering from the dreadful Cancer and Covid, I began learning photography by watching YouTube videos and started capturing anything that pleased my senses. Then one fine day, a dear friend shared a list of birds found in their condominium during the lockdown. That brochure inspired me enough to step out in the garden to seek them out.

Despite the scorching May heat, I would spend hours outside without feeling any fatigue. This newfound passion gave me a reason to work harder on my remission.

There has been no looking back since that fateful day; and the journey has been nothing short of beautiful and rewarding.

I started as a bird photographer, was captivated by their sheer variety and humbled by my own lack of knowledge about them. Soon, I started to explore the sights beyond my familiar surroundings driven by curiosity and many unexplored emotions. My journey expanded from birds to mammals and into the fascinating world of macro photography, and I have just begun only :).

As much as the endless possibilities were exhilarating, they also felt overwhelming at times.

Before I say these 3 words – Light, Camera, Shoot. I realized there was so much to unlearn and relearn from a whole new perspective.

But as Walt Disney famously said “If you can dream it, you can do it.”

Conservation is another vital aspect of wildlife photography and it is something I am deeply passionate about. Seeing how visual storytelling is bringing awareness and creating a positive impact on all those beings with whom we share our planet is incredibly motivating and has given me renewed purpose to pursue my passion.

I hope you find as much joy browsing my photographs as I did in creating them.
